Leaving from Campos de Hellín

Hellín and Tobarra, in the south of the province, are a land of esparto grass, irrigated farmland and a drum-filled Holy Week. Hellín has a hospital and is the gateway to the Sierra del Segura, and because it sits on the A-30 many trips head as much towards Albacete as towards Murcia.

Which way it goes

From Hellín and Tobarra the road runs up the A-30 to Albacete and then the A-31 and A-3 to Madrid. It is one of the longest trips to Barajas in the province, and the AVE from Albacete is the usual alternative.

Barajas is a long way from the province, on the far side of Madrid, but it is the airport for intercontinental flights and many others that do not leave from Alicante or Valencia. From Albacete it is reached via the A-3 and round Madrid on the M-40 or M-50.

When demand peaks

• Holidays and the beach (Easter, summer and Christmas): At the start of the holidays, transfers to Alicante, Valencia and Murcia airports multiply, on top of those to Barajas, and early flights mean leaving at night. It is best to book as soon as you have your ticket.

Tip: If you are connecting with the AVE in Albacete from Hellín or Almansa, give the train number or time: pickup is worked out so you reach Los Llanos in good time.

Airport pickup

For arrivals, the driver waits in the terminal with a name sign and helps with your luggage. We track the flight number, so a delay costs nothing extra within the terminal’s complimentary waiting time.

For early flights

We recommend leaving Tobarra at least 262 minutes before you want to be at the check-in desk. We operate through the night, always with an advance booking.
