Leaving from Mancha del Júcar

North of the capital, La Roda, Tarazona de la Mancha and Madrigueras are farming towns near the Júcar. La Roda sits on the A-31 and has a conventional railway station; for the hospital and the AVE they all look to Albacete.

Which way it goes

La Roda heads straight to Madrid on the A-31 and then the A-3. Tarazona and Madrigueras join the A-31 on local roads without having to go down to Albacete.

Barajas is a long way from the province, on the far side of Madrid, but it is the airport for intercontinental flights and many others that do not leave from Alicante or Valencia. From Albacete it is reached via the A-3 and round Madrid on the M-40 or M-50.

When demand peaks

• Holidays and the beach (Easter, summer and Christmas): At the start of the holidays, transfers to Alicante, Valencia and Murcia airports multiply, on top of those to Barajas, and early flights mean leaving at night. It is best to book as soon as you have your ticket.

Tip: Before choosing an airport, think about where you are leaving from: from Almansa or Caudete, Alicante and Valencia are much closer than Barajas; from Villarrobledo, Madrid may be the better choice.

Airport pickup

For arrivals, the driver waits in the terminal with a name sign and helps with your luggage. We track the flight number, so a delay costs nothing extra within the terminal’s complimentary waiting time.

For early flights

We recommend leaving Madrigueras at least 213 minutes before you want to be at the check-in desk. We operate through the night, always with an advance booking.
